Content of the Organization: Summer Camp brings together male and female young athletes between the ages of 6 and 16 from all around the world, giving them the means and the opportunity to merge basketball with a camp environment and water sports, get to know and socialize with people from other cultures, have fun and a good rest, and an international basketball experience.
Mission of the Organization: The mission of the Summer Camp is to bring together basketball players of the same age groups from all around the world and to offer them basketball as a common ground on which they can get to know each other and each other’s cultures and make new friends from all around the world.
Importance of the Organization:Summer Camp brings together young people from all around the world on the common ground of basketball, offering them a chance to get to know each other and learn from each other, especially in an environment communities move further away from each other every day.
History of the Organization:Summer Camp was first organized in Bodrum in 2001. It has been moved to Gokova 2006. MVP-Ibrahim Kutluay Basketball Academy Summer Camp has had many visitors from the United States, Germany,France, the Netherlands, Israel, Sweden, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and Russia, as well as many famous basketball players and coaches as guests sharing their knowledge and experience with the young athletes.
MVP-Ibrahim Kutluay Basketball Academy Summer Camp has provided approximately 5500 young athletes with the opportunity to improve their basketball since 2001.
MVP-Ibrahim Kutluay Basketball Academy Summer Camp has become a member of the Turkish Camping Fellowship in 2010, proving its capability of meeting national standards, while becoming a member of the ICF (International Camping Fellowship) in 2008 and that of the AOCF (Asia Oceania Camping Fellowship) in 2010, obtaining accreditation for meeting international standards as well.
